Network Glia e.V.  offers stipends for the XV European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease

Network Glia e.V. provides grants for young qualified researchers for participation in the XV European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease (July 5 – 9, 2021, online).

The financial support consists of the amount of the registration fee for those who will participate in the virtual meeting.

Criteria for application:

  • eligible are students, Ph. D. students and young postdocs
  • the age limit is 35 years by the time of application
  • the applicant participates with an own contribution (poster)
  • the applicant is first author
  • every author is allowed to apply for one stipend only

The application should contain the following documents:

  • short cover letter with contact data
  • 1 page CV
  • list of publications (if applicable)
  • copy of the abstract
  • one short letter of recommendation

The GLIA Journal offers stipends

GLIA is offering stipends (early registration fee for virtual conference) to support participation in the 15th European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease to be held as online event on July 5–9, 2021

Requirements for applications are:

  • The candidate is first author on an original article in GLIA published in 2019, 2020, or 2021, or has an article accepted at the time of the deadline.
  • The candidate will participate in the 2021 Glia Meeting with his/her own contribution (oral or poster)

The following documents are required (by email):

  • Short CV
  • Abstract of contribution to the 2021 Meeting. The applicant should be the presenting author.

Applications from young investigators and from scientists living in financially disadvantaged countries are encouraged.

Please note that application for a stipend does not replace the registration to the meeting. Applicants must register in addition.

Journal Brain Sciences, the neuroglia section, offers stipends for the XV European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease

The Journal Brain Sciences provides two grants for young qualified researchers for participation in the XV European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease as an online event, on July 5 – 9, 2021.

The financial support consists of 500 €.

The following applicants were selected for a stipend:

Criteria for application are as follows:

  • eligible are students, Ph. D. students and young postdocs
  • the age limit is 35 years by the time of application

  • every author is allowed to apply for one stipend only
